Andy began his horticultural journey as a sophomore in high school. In college, he took courses in horticulture, botany and plant biology and achieved certification in those subjects. He began working at Wegmans Nursery when he was in college and has been there for 25 years. Horticulture is his life and passion. 

Andy will bring plants to show, share his advice and answer questions. He has helped and taught customers about plant care and we are lucky to have him come to us to share reminders and new learnings about plants and plant care. 

Wegman’s Nursery is a family-owned garden center in Redwood City and has been a local tradition for over 60 years. They are known for the wide selection of plants, knowledgeable staff and educational commitment through their seminars and workshops.
