We are proud to sponsor the Plant Exchange together with the Los Altos Recreation Department and support from the Los Altos History Museum.
LABEL ALL PLANTS
Include name and flower color.
The #1 reason for delay is unmarked plants. If you have your plants labeled, you can go directly to check in and save time.
DO BRING
Rooted plants in pots (optional for succulents)
Bulbs
Cuttings
Small shrubs or trees
Cut cell packs into 6 sections.
Divide large clumps like agapanthus, bamboos, society garlic (no need to pot).
DO NOT BRING
Unmarked plants--flower color at least -- (Often we can help ID at check-in)
Wilted plants
Weeds or invasive plants
Large undivided clumps (Too hard to manage)
HONOR SYSTEM OBSERVED HERE
Take in proportion to what you bring. Take only one of each type of plant, or 2-3 of a cutting or a bulb.
VOLUNTEER FOR A 30 MINUTE SHIFT
Choose set up from 8:45—10:00 a.m., or check in from 9:30—10:00 a.m., or clean up from 11:30—12:00 noon. Email Betty Lee at betlee59@gmail.com.
If you are participating in the exchange and want to volunteer, you can still do so by volunteering at the event. Let us know at Check-in.
