Dear Garden Club members,

I know we all look forward to the March Salad Luncheon every year. It’s a time when we enjoy each other’s company while partaking of delicious food prepared by everyone, install our new Officers and watch the artistry of a talented flower arranger.

On March 5, 2020, because of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), the Santa Clara County Public Health Department issued guidelines that urged organizations to cancel or postpone events where large groups of people gather together.  

With this recommendation in mind, the Board and I have made the decision to cancel the luncheon meeting on March 24th, 2020.  I have made this difficult decision with a heavy heart, but, it is only prudent for the well-being of members not to meet together at this time. 

It’s hard to predict the future and what might happen at the April meeting, but details will be forthcoming in the next newsletter in early April.

Renew by mail since renewing at the March meeting is not an option. Please send your check for annual dues of $25 ($40 for a family membership) payable to Garden Club of Los Altos (GCLA) to: Sue Becker. Sue’s address can be found in our members’ directory.
