Presentation by Katie Chirgotis, founder and owner of EOTHEN, a floral design company based in the Central Coast of California. Katie is a practicing florist, student of Nature and environmental activist. Raised in the marshes of Virginia, her love for the land in relation to body, observation of the tides in relation to breath, appreciation of the seasons in relation to spirit - continue to inform the woman and artist she is becoming today.

Katie will be working with seasonal materials both gathered from local farms and consciously foraged to create arrangements that are beautiful yet unpretentious, elevated yet approachable, wild yet curated. One will focus on aesthetic and form, and the second will focus on mechanics and technique. She looks forward to sharing Nature and art with all of us at this talk.
