  • 1:30 : Program Begins

Carla Evans will be presenting her demonstration of an elegant arrangement for your dining room table using foods found in your grocery store’s produce department. She will also be showing a Valentine’s Day arrangement. Carla was born and raised on a farm in North Dakota and moved to California when she was 14 years of age, living in the San Jose area for many years. Carla took an interest in floral and plant arrangements while watching her creative mother do the same. She has taken courses with Citti’s Florist and Ikebana classes and enjoys creating her own designs. Her professional career includes working for an executive search firm followed by working as Vice President of a small computercompany in the 1980’s. After managing a dental practice for over thirty years, she retired and is enjoying her many hobbies including piano, embroidery machine sewing, cooking, decorating and of course flowers and plants.
